Not another Christmas Dinner....
19th December 2019
You can't beat Christmas dinner - pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, yorkshire puds .... but there's a limit on how much turkey we really want!
We've rounded up some ideas for an alternative dinner at Two Rivers this Christmas season ....
FRANKIE & BENNY'S
It was the most talked about burger last December and it’s back by popular demand. Say “hello again” to the famous Brie & Cranberry Burger. A juicy beef patty with breaded brie, crispy bacon, peppery rocket and cranberry sauce - it’ll just melt in your mouth.
There'll be at least one day when you wake up starving :) Head to Caffe Gusto for a full English breakfast ... or brunch if it's a late start - Caffe Gusto offer cheese and bacon toasties, jacket potatoes with a choice of toppings, omelettes with various fillings plus a range of hot and cold drinks.
You can't beat a classic burger with all the relish. GBK's Major Tom is a 30 day dry-aged steak patty with blue cheese slaw, crispy bacon, smoked Applewood, beef ketchup and dill pickle. Mouthwatering and not turkey!
It’s the most Harvester time of the yeaaaar (we’re pretty sure that’s how the song goes). Of course Harvester have Christmas Dinner with the works on their festive menu but you can also choose from Fillet of Sea Bass with a lobster and prosecco sauce, Jim Beam BBQ Ribs and tangy Blackcurrant Mousse for afters. Yum.
Thinking of getting your PERi-PERi fix over Christmas? You can even grab a Nando's on Boxing Day!
Check their festive opening times here Nandos Staines
Warm your soul with Wagamama's kokoro bowls - ‘kokoro’ means ‘spirit, heart + mind’. All under 650 calories - winning!
We're going with the 3-course Christmas menu - potato skins loaded with bacon and cheese, full rack of classic ribs with TGI's Legendary Glaze and Cookie Dough Sundae to finish. Plus when you choose from the 3-course festive menu, cocktails are just £3:99 each!
If these don't spark your tastebuds, there's all you can eat Chinese buffet at Kung Fu, pasta or pizza at Zizzi, Prezzo and Pizza Hut, Cali-inspired festive specials at Limeyard and of course, the trusty Big Mac :)
