I took my 9 year daughter to watch the film and we both really enjoyed it. The storyline was not predictable, and  there were many heart felt scenes as well as action and suspense. The fairies and other magical creatures looked so realistic and amazing! We were both drawn into the film, especially my daughter , she was very emotionally invested and wanted the good to win over evil. We both loved the mother daughter bond in film and the strong female cast and it’s not your typical Disney film where the prince rescues the day and they live happy ever after. The effects of this film -  all the details of the backdrop and costumes -  were so amazing, you were transformed to another land. This film is one for all ages and I highly recommend it and could watch it again as so much happens. I do however think you need to watch first one to really understand what’s happening in this one.
